Accessing Local Service with RDP service name

Hi


I am looking to steam prices from a local RMDS source 'DTS_SG'

I attach a screen shot of the configuration in Eikon

I am trying to access the local service via RDP and streamingprices, with no luck

What should be the value I pass to the service parameter. I have tried ('D'.'DTS_SG','DTS_SG_RDF','D_RDF') to no avail

    Hi @Joseph.Maloney

    Currently, the Eikon Data API (API Proxy) gets streaming data from the platform directly (HMDS) so you should not have access to local services like DTS etc

    In the meantime, if you are able to do so, please try using a PlatformSession instead e.g.

    rdp.open_platform_session(     APP_KEY,      deployed_platform_host = 'myADS1:15000',     deployed_platform_username = 'umer.nalla' )

    You will need to speak to your MarketData team to get the hostname or IP address of an ADS server and also your DACS user name. You should also confirm the Websocket Port is 15000

    e.g.

    streaming_prices = rdp.StreamingPrices(     
    service = 'DTS_SG',     
    universe = universe,      
    fields   = fields, .....

    I was now able to test the above and it is working as expected..
