How to download minute data for dates more than a year ago?

I am trying to download historical minute data for an ETF, stock or FX, but it seems that, It is not possible to get minute data for any kind of assets if the dates are more than a year or so ago. Is it true?

    Yes, this is correct. The depth of timeseries of price history in one minute aggregation available through Eikon is one year. Longer timeseries are available through Refinitiv Tick History product.
