Does RDP need to be as a separate subscription?

Does RDP need to be as a separate subscription? We are getting an unexpected access denied error when calling get_data() using Refinitiv Data Platform (in Python) with fields TR.Event*. I see the same in the API Playground. When running with Codebook in Workspace, the same query goes through with no error. Why is there an access difference for these particular fields?

    Hi @VyaJunaine.Gutierrez,

    RDP is an enterprise product which is different from the Eikon/Workspace - which is a desktop terminal, and does need its own separate subscription. Some of the value add data fields like TR.Event might not be available within RDP as well.

    I would recommend that you reach out to your LSEG account manager to discuss this.
