Hi,

I already got my machine-id and password, how do I get the app-key?

    Hello @John Martin

    Thank you for reaching out. You can use the App Key Generator tool to generate the app-key in various ways.

    The first way is via LSEG Workspace app (desktop or online version). You can search the tool via APPKEY keyword on the app's search bar.

    The second way is via the RDP API Playground page. There is a link "AppKey Generator" on the top left side of the page.

    Once you are in the AppKey Generator tool app, please input the following information:

    • App Display Name: I highly recommend choose the name is specific to your company and app purpose. Do not use generic name such as app1, test_app, etc.
    • Check on the EDP API checkbox

    Then click the "Register New App" button. Your AppKey will be shown as API Key.
