values published by FID 259

Hello , we are using RFA 8.1 C++ api we want to understand what values FID 259 publishes ,

Data model page says "Field which indicates the type of record and also the type of data in that record"
Can you elaborate more on this ?

The value in FID 259 identifies the type of asset. Refer to this article for more details:
