RFA jar transformation

Hello,

We currently integrate currency rates into our system using rfa.jar through our JAVA application. As part of our transformation process, we are looking to change this setup. We also have integrations with IDN_RDF, BBG and OYAKBANK. Could you recommend a new infrastructure solution that would suit our requirements? We are looking for a modern and efficient way to handle these integrations.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Best Regards,

Hello @fatmabetul.yazici

I am assuming that you are using the RFA Java 7.6 to connect and consume data from a local deployed (or hosted) RTDS.

If so, the Enterprise Message API (EMA) of the Real-Time SDK Java edition is the recommend one. It can connect and consume data from RTDS using the RSSL connection (the same connection used by RFA's OMM interface).

The following resources might help you to understand the EMA API - Java edition better:

Please note that the EMA Java API interfaces are not compatible with RFA Java, please check the Migrating from the Legacy Robust Foundation API (RFA) to the Enterprise Message API (EMA) article for more detail.
