Primary Industry & Business Sector Fields vs Actual Entity Data Commercial Use

Hi

We have recently started to explore using PermID as a data source for Organization and possibly other data such as Industry and Business sectors. I am a bit confused about the extended license with respect to Organization entity vs the actual Industry and Business sectors. It looks like those fields on Org entities are not for commercial use, does this mean than that Industry and Business sector entities themselves are also not for commercial use? If that is the case how do you go about getting this type of permission / agreement in place?

Thanks!

Teresa

The TRBC Industry scheme is under the basic, CC-BY license. This includes the categories, hierarchy, metadata, etc.

What it does NOT include is the specific assignments of TRBC codes to specific Organizations. In other words, you can use the definition of https://permid.org/1-4294952759 (Professional & Commercial Services) for commercial purposes, but the assignment of that code to Refinitiv (https://permid.org/1-5064690523), would be under the Non-Commercial (CC-NC) License.
