Eikon API - Web Hosted API or Linux?

Hi all,

We have a chatbot which is using Eikon Desktop/Proxy/API as market data to run some adhoc analysis and provide result in a chat message.

We are looking to host the chatbot on a unix server, and was wondering on the availability of a Reuter's hosted API endpoint or API proxy being available for Linux. (The last update for Linux appears to be July 2017.)

The chatbot would likely have it's own Eikon license in future. Currently, it is hosted on a end user Windows PC.

Thanks,

JD

@JIAN.DU I think using Eikon for this purpose might be breaking the end user license. I suggest you contact your account manager and have a chat about it and the possible other options - with this use case you are eligible to use one of the enterprise APIs like Datascope Select.
