Impact of Thomson Reuters API Gateway Migration - February 11th

We had received an email last week about Thomson Reuters API Gateway migration on 11 Feb in which there will be a change in the static IP addresses to dynamic IP addresses. Our company is using RFA API call to get real-time data from ADS servers and perform trading activity by Eikon/FXT.

Would you please elaborate the scope of change in details? Please also confirm if any impact to these services since we are planning to arrange health check on related servers if applicable.

Hi @DavidTWLo

To be clear, this is related to a migration of the TR Apigee stack from on-premise to Apigee SaaS. It should not impact clients who access their APIs through https://api.thomsonreuters.com, but there is chance of small outage during cutover.

From a Refinitiv perspective there are 3 APIs that sit behind this stack:

  1. PermID – PermID.org and TRIT
  2. GraphFeed
  3. CM-Well

If you are connected to an ADS, you should not be impacted by this.
