As this is related to Workspace application so, in the Workspace application, please raise this issue to the support team (by pressing F1 or Select Get Help & Support option) regarding the 'Register New App' button is greyed out. So the helpdesk and help you on this.
You will need to create an App Key as per this article:

I cannot generate a new key. In the workplace, the 'Register New App' button is grey. Even I reinstalled it and it still does not work.
