Does Eikon/WS Data API needs a local host id in order to connect? if so what should be populated with?

    Hello @MoisesGomez27

    The Data API does not need a local host ID; just an app key.

    If you are not already using LSEG Data Library, you should look into it. There is an ease of use access layer, and lots of examples for it.
