Accessing DIB fields through python RDP API

What's the procedure for accessing fields from the Data Item Browser app through the Python RDP API?

I'm used to the get_fields method from Eikon and I'm having trouble finding the correct endpoint for the RDP platform. I'm wondering if there's an endpoint to query from using RIC and field name as parameters.

EDIT: The data point I'm looking for is initial margin on ES mini contracts, if there's another way to query that data point I'm not thinking of - please let me know!

Hello @edjshen

The DIB fields are only for workspace and not available in general RDP endpoints. There might be other RDP endpoints/services which might be able to provide the data you are interested in. For this, please reach out to the content experts by raising a ticket at LSEG MyAccount.

There is RDP DataGrid service which is available with some special license - and not to all users. If your ID has permission, you can try the following using LD library for Python -

 ld.get_data(['ESc1'], fields=['TR.FOInitialMargin'])
