The eikon apis repeatedly show "Error code 429 | Client Error: Too many requests, please try again later." even for simple queries.
How can we fix this?

"Too many requests" implied that your application exceeded the data limits as described in the limits guideline document. You can read on recommended actions to take, in the same document.

The documentation you sent is for lseg-data while we are using eikon. Anyways, the eikon documentation link contain limitations while we are not getting any data from the APIs.
What can be the cause for this and how to fix this?
Eikon API is legacy and is replaced with LSEG Data Library. The cause of this error is that your application is sending too many requests which are breaching the data/request limits of the Workspace. You can contact your LSEG account manager to see if enterprise products like Data Platform or DSS might be a better fit for your needs.
Thanks, we but we have not used any meaningful amount of API calls either today or yesterday. How can we get this resolved?
The limit should reset after a while, unless the account has been flagged. I would recommend that you reach out to the LSEG account manager and see if they can help with this issue.
