Workspace data API Errors: Error Code -1|'headers'

Hello Data API team,

I'm raising this issue on behalf of my client Workspace users. The issues are discribed below:

When I using Workspace data API, I frequently get the Errors refinitiv.data._errors.RDError: Error code -1| 'headers'. Please kindly find the screenshot attached with the error message.

I can confirm all the RICs I'm retrieving are valid RICs. I retrieve the data both in the morning and afternoon using the same RICs and the same code. It worked fine this morning, but the rd.get_history method became unstable in the afternoon with the same RICs and same code.

Would you help identify what is the reason for the refinitiv.data._errors.RDError: Error code -1 | 'headers' error? and how to resolve this issue?

The Refinitiv Data Library has been rebranded to the LSEG Data Library for Python. The clients should use the LSEG Data Library for Python instead.

To verify what the problem is, the client can enable the debug log in the library by running the following code before opening a session.

config = rd.get_config()

config.set_param("logs.transports.file.enabled", True)

config.set_param("logs.transports.file.name", "lseg-data-lib.log")

config.set_param("logs.level", "debug")


rd.open_session()

With this code, the lseg-data-lib.log file will be created. Please share this log file when the problem occurred.
