There was no mention of alternative connectivity types e.g. comms over Internet, VPN etc.
What are the supported connectivity options for EMA?
Thomson Reuters Elektron data feeds are available via various delivery methods including internet, VPN and private circuits.
EMA is compatible with all of them. The different delivery methods exist to accommodate different requirements for data volumes and latency. They all work with EMA.
Applications that you write with EMA will work regardless of whether you use a small or large Elektron feed, or how it is delivered to you. They will also work with data sources other than Elektron. EMA is compatible with all data sources available on a customer-owned TREP (formerly RMDS).
