"The access to field(s) denied."

.As per client, he can see the data in Workspace desktop but when trying to pull it in API, he is getting the error (screenshot)|
Client has relayed access for RIC AAPL.O
Client is using the below script:
events = rd.get_history(
universe=['AAPL.O'],
start=dt.date(2024, 1, 1).strftime('%Y-%m-%d'),
end=dt.date(2025, 12, 31).strftime('%Y-%m-%d'),
fields=[
'TR.EventType'
]
)
Can you please advise?

The error states that the user does not have entitlements to view real time data. Here are couple of other questions with similar error and it all points to data permission issue.
This is not an API issue; I would recommend that you take it up with the product team directly.

Hi @RogelynMayAgustin ,
Please let me add that the source of the data can be different between the Workspace application and the Data Library, so there can be the case when user have a permission to access the data in Workspace, but not via the Data Library. The best way to solve this is like my colleague mentioned, which is talking with product team regarding the entitlement.

Client is asking the following:
I’m trying to use it historically with get_history(), not real time. That is still somehow connected to real time?
Can adding /AAPL.O in the code makes the script run?0 -
Are they trying to get data from the Platform or from Workspace? What session are they using. Please ask the user to tun on debug logging and provide all log messages.
Like @raksina.samasiri mentioned, the data entitlements are different across these products.
