where can I find a copy of “rfaj8.2.1.L1” for java – I don’t have a refinitiv account to log in to download.

If you are not RDC named user, you can download the RFA API package from https://my.refinitiv.com/content/mytr/en/downloadcenter/loadview.html.html website, please choose "Product Family" --> "MDS - API"
