I can use python to get a time series of
S&PCOMP, using the below code

data=ek.get_timeseries('.SPX', fields='CLOSE', start_date='2017-01-01',interval='daily')
but how do I get the time series for S&PCOMP(DSPE)? thank you

Is DSPE "Price/Earnings Ratio (Datastream Calculated)"?
I found a TR.Index_PE_RTRS field which is the price-earnings ratio of the index as calculated by Thomson Reuters.
