RDP News API rate limits

Can you advise where to know the rate limits of following RDP News APIs? E.g. how many request using any given token?

· /data/news/v1/headlines

· /data/news/v1/stories

Hi @Tony.Zhu_R,

The News services do have limits controlled per request as outlined within the Reference documentation within the Playground. The reference guide does not describe any overall daily or other types of volume limitations within the service. Have you run into any issues? Or are you just curious because you anticipate you may be requesting a large amount of data?

Any queries around the details of the News service can be better addressed by contacting Refinitiv Support.

Thanks Nick for the clarification.

Before raising the above Q, I did raise a case 09707728 to Support who suggested I come here , instead.

The reason is we're currently supporting a RDP News client who aims to run stress testing so we'd like to know the rate limits of the APIs. Don't we have any detail of the rate limits applied to RDP News APIs?

Hi @Tony.Zhu_R,

Sorry that support brought you back here - perhaps they didn't understand the nature of your question. This site is strictly related to the usage of the APIs and where we can, provide some answers around the specific service. Please go back to support and request that it is not a rate limit of the API, but rather a rate limit of the News Service.
