Interop.SSL migration

Helllo,

We are currently migrating an legacy application that is using the Interop.SSL DLL to RFA.NET. However, I am having difficulty figuring out which new field names corresponding to the old SSL record fields.

Specifically, we are currently using "VALUE_DT" and "PRIMACT_1", "PRIMACT_2" and "PRIMACT_3" fields for getting interest rates for some instruments, and "OFFC_CODE2", "GV3_TEXT", "GN_TXT16_4", "CTBTR_1LL" fields for economic indicators. Is there documentation anywhere explaining what these fields are following a SSLRecord.Snapshot() call?

Many Thanks,

Hi @darko.roje

Unless you are using some internal wrapper that renames the old SSL record fields or the new fields, there should be no difference in the fields you receive back using the old or new APIs.

Our real-time APIs are content-neutral and do not rename fields etc.

For a list of fields and general descriptions, please refer to the RDMFieldDictionary file at Real-Time-SDK/Java/etc at master · Refinitiv/Real-Time-SDK (github.com)

For more detailed information on fields - specific to your particular exchange/asset class etc, you can use the Data Model Discovery tool FixSpec Stack | FID Search

If you still need further guidance you can raise a Content Ticket at My.Refinitiv - where a content specialist can provide further advice for your particular RICs + FIDs etc.
