How to get venture capital data through eikon API?

Hi,

Is there a way to get venture capital related data through eikon API? I couldn't find related articles or codes to help get those data such as venture capital fund name, fund' investments, etc.

Best!

Hi @liyutian ,

Normally, the SCREENER app in Eikon desktop or Refinitiv Workspace can be used to get the Eikon Excel formula, which can be converted to Python code for Eikon API

However, for venture capital data, the option to export as an Excel formula is disabled. I guess that the universe: private equity/VC isn't available through =TR function in Eikon Excel/ Eikon Data APIs

The best way to confirm this is to contact Refinitiv Helpdesk and ask if you can use the Private equity/VC screener through =TR worksheet function.

Refinitiv Content Helpdesk can be reached using any method below

For this time, I've raised case number 10607501 on your behalf, support team is going to contact you regarding this question soon.
