Function custom field

Hi team.

One of our prospect came back to me with this question:

"In Bloomberg, there was a function custom field. In this function, you could save data (this case our screening result) via python code. The contents of this field was requestable just like any other field. So I could for example make a chart with the custom field. Is there a similar system in Refinitiv?"

Has anyone ever heard of such a feature?

You can also try and create your custom instrument: https://api.refinitiv.com/data/custom-instruments/v1/instruments

You custom RIC can be constructed using arithmetical formulas and other RICs.
