Hi Team, I'm assisting User regarding an error in API.
The client [GESG1-163451] mentioned that it was working two weeks ago.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
- Verified workflow:
- Opened the Workspace application
- Launched RStudio/API
- Run the Codes and the error appears "Eikon API request failed. Do you have an Eikon license and Eikon open?"
- Executed eikon.api::setTRAppID() and entered API Key
- Ran eikon.api::eikonConnected() → Returns False, though it should be True to confirm API connection
- Checked Data API Proxy:
- Status shows Ready
- Client successfully accessed the API Proxy URL
- Ran a system test on the client machine:
- Confirmed that all necessary links are whitelisted
- Additional steps attempted:
- Renaming the Workspace cache folder (Issue persists)
- Generating a new API Key and reconnecting (Issue persists)
