Automatically generate charts using a certain style on Workspace

Hi team, need your assistance on this.

Query : I would like to use my access to LSEG Workspace to automatically generate charts using a certain style (colours, title, font, etc.). For example, an intraday chart of a certain stock, or a chart for a year using daily closing price, etc.

I can manage the chart generation part on our side, but I’m wondering if I have access to an API that would first allow me to get the data I need.

Please reach out to LSEG account manager to check user's account permissions. Once confirmed, you can advise the user to start from the LD Library for Python and many of the provided samples for it.

There are numerous examples of charting provided on the https://github.com/LSEG-API-Samples GitHub repo which also use LD Library.

Following up on this, is it possible to query the Workspace APIs with Javascript (REST API over HTTP) ? Or is it only possible using the Python library ?

Workspace can only be accessed using the LD Library and not directly using HTTP/REST. If the user is interested in using Javascript in either NodeJS or within a browser, then they can use the LD Library for TypeScript.
