Dear team,  Please help on this EMA query as logs were gathered. 

Client emailed in as follows:

We have a question regarding the Reuters EMA API. The API information is: rdrt.uname=user001 rdrt.serviceName=ELEKTRON_DD

The attached file is the log.

Question: Why doesn't the API automatically reconnect after the connection is lost due to network fluctuations?

At 20:38:31, more data was sent, as shown in the image below.

However, there has been no connection information since 20:39:26.

I found a lot of disconnections and reconnections on the log file. It happened every 2-3 minute.

I saw the Channelup message in the log file at 20:39:27.824. It could mean that the API could reconnect to the server at 20:39:27.824. The client needs to check the server log to verify this.

However, according to the log, the application can't login to the server.

First, the client need to verify the version of EMA used by the application and then upgrade it to the latest version to avoid all known issues. The latest version of EMA Java is RTSDK Java 2.3.1.G1 aka EMA/ETA 3.9.1.G1 aka 3.9.1.1.
