Is there any delay between a RIC being updated and the new RIC being used in news stories

Is there a delay between a stock changing its RIC and the new RIC being used in news analytics such as TRNA? If there is one, how long would the delay be?

    In general, RIC changes occur in the news the same day that they do in the market. There can be exceptions, such as journalist errors.

    News Analytics (TRNA) and News Sentiment Indices (TRSI) V4 generally continue to score such companies, as long as the news is tagged also with a PermID. In that case, the complimentary "assetCode" field may still include the old RIC, until TRNA company coverage is updated. Typically this update occurs the end of the month.
