Case 14079299 Canadian and American companies traded on the other side using Phyton

Team,

I need your help on client’s query below.

Description:

Hi, I've realized that there is no data field that returns 0 if a firm is only offered on a single exchange and 1 if it is offered on more than one.

In our research focusing on a sample of Canadian and American firms, we wish to determine which companies in each sample are also traded on the other side (a variable that returns 1 if the firm is listed in both the U.S. and Canada and 0 otherwise).

I would like to do this for all firm-year observations in the 2006-2021 period.

Could you help me come up with a list of all Canadian and American companies and the period during which they have been traded on each of the North American exchanges using Phyton?
