Command line argument

When running Eikon or Eikon API Proxy, what arguments are possible to pass from the command line? Specifically, can I pass the username/password?

The latter would be useful when a user has access to a desktop and we do not want give them credential or have an administrator to add the credentials for them (to avoid potential misuse)

Username and password cannot be passed to the API. The Eikon Data API is bound to the Eikon License agreement. Every API call is made on behalf of the licensed user. This cannot be 'anonymised' for the same reasons.

If you are looking for 'site wide' access to be controlled by an admin, then a Data Feed is a more suitable product.

This problem is solved with the integration of the Eikon API Proxy into the desktop product. In this case we can use the automatic sign in option. (Before the Proxy app sign-in removed the desktop sign-in and viceversa).
