Is there an alternative to RIC in NameType for InstrumentKey_2

Using the Quotes section, can the NameType, when defining keys to request, be another field apart from RIC, e.g. SEDOL?

Hi,

Api quote request works with RIC only. You can use the search service to get corresponding RIC codes.

Thank you for your answer about the RIC code. Are there any .net code examples for the Search service (as for the Quotes service)?

Hi,

Yes, our .net samples package also has a WebBasedSample that includes search and is available in the Complex folder.

In addition, you may be familiar with the our request builder tool, this is the site that demostrates our Trkd api services, there you can make a search request using the Develop tab and there is the option to download the .net sample of request you made by clicking the Samples tab.

Also, you can review our developer guide, it provides detailed information for our services and also information on how to create a client aplication.
