To use Eikon Data APIs (Python) to retrieve data, you need to have Eikon Desktop or Eikon Data API Proxy installed on the machine. Then, you need to run Eikon Desktop or Eikon Data API Proxy.

For more information, please refer to Eikon Data API(Python) Troubleshooting.

For the error in the Eikon web, please directly contact the Eikon support team to verify the problem.

Hello @miha-css

You can get the App Key via the following ways:

  1. In the Eikon Desktop application, go to the Search Bar and type "APP KEY" , then select the App Key Generator
  2. Via AppKey Generator web site.
