How to create option symbol?

I need to obtain option chain. How do I formulate the symbol for getting this info. I am using Java, Any input would be appreciated. Also need to understand how can I convert the regular ticker to RIC to query data.

We have APIs that can convert ticker to RICs. Therefore, please let me know the Refintiv's products or APIs that you are using. It shouldn't be Eikon Data APIs because Eikon Data APIs are in Python.

Otherwise, you can directly contact the content support team via my.refinitiv.com for rules used to construct option chains.
