LPC linux server requirements

Hi, For the Legacy Protocol Converter (LPC), as that runs on a Linux server, can someone please specify a minimal/optimal server configuration (CPU, RAM,disk) assuming single tenant and back office FX rates usage with limited tick updates.

Hi @udai.abburi

I have been advised by an LPC specialist, that the best approach would be for you to provide your Refinitiv account team with your server specs and they can liaise with the LPC team for some guidance as to its suitability for your use case.

Apologies that I cannot provide you with the answer directly but it is probably better done offline and also this forum is moderated by API specialists who are LPC users only much like yourself.

Hi @udai.abburi,

Only requirement mentioned for the LPC is:

Hardware Platforms supported : Intel, AMD
Operating Systems supported  : Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x (64 bit)
Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.x (64 bit)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x (64 bit)
Oracle Enterprise Linux 7.x (64 bit)

So, considering that LPC runs fine on a virtual machine (docker image), I would say any hardware which can run these OS, should be ok - even a few years old machine.
