I am trying out the Open Calais Demo and the free-tier API with the same plaintext input but the results does not match. Namely the online Demo returns more topics (Social issues, labor, crime, asylum...) while the API only returns the top two.
Is this expected or I did something wrong?

This is expected as you are using the “free” version – so only via the UI you will get full results (with all fields you mentioned below) as it showcases all Calais capabilities.
