API Access for Bulk Download of Earnings Call Transcripts Across Firms and Years

Dear All,

I’m currently working on a research project aimed at developing a firm-level geopolitical risk index using textual analysis of earnings call transcripts. For this purpose, I’m looking to access historical transcripts across a large sample of firms — ideally around 10,000 companies — and spanning multiple years.

From what I understand, LSEG provides extensive coverage of transcripts (~40,000 per year, from 10,000 companies globally) via the Transcripts & Briefs product (see below screenshot). The delivery mechanism includes API, Desktop, and Excel, and formats such as JSON, XML, and Text — which is ideal for my use case.

I currently have access to LSEG through my university (University of Edinburgh) but I’m unsure how to actually retrieve this data — especially in bulk.

I would really appreciate any guidance on how to access the data whether it can be accessed through API key, or others method.

The Transcripts and Brief API product is not available on the LSEG APIs Developers Portal website yet.

I strongly suggest you contact the team directly via https://www.lseg.com/en/data-analytics/financial-data/company-data/events/earnings-transcripts-briefs/transcripts-database website by clicking on the "Request Detail" button.

Alternatively, you may contact the team via https://support.lseg.com/ website.
