trying to run: ek.get_timeseries(['1DCSV0'], start_date = '2020-04-24', end_date = '2020-09-11')
I receive the following error:
Hi,
Yesterday, I had the same error with 1DCSV0 and not today.
Issue is reproduced with Eikon for Excel.
In this sheet, currently, I get data for 1DCSV0 and .DJI but not for RUB=
This is a content issue with Timeseries and will forwarded to related data team.
Hi @w.rieger
I am using the latest Eikon Data API.
Version is
1.1.6.post2
You can update the api version by using pip command
pip uninstall eikon
pip install eikon --no-cache-dir
The provided code is valid and the same code works fine for me.
For this issue, you can submit a ticket to Refinitiv Helpdesk at my.refinitiv.com/
So they can verify your permission and if necessary, they can refer the case to the technical support team.
Same error, started today. This request was working for several years.
>>> ek.__version__ '1.1.2'
Here is debug output:

Same for other RICs, like .SPX, .FTSE and so on.
And I can see daily price history for these RICs in the Eikon terminal as of this writing.
Good morning,
We've got similar problems since last friday. Example today:

These RICs were updated somehow this morning, for example: ZAR=, XPD=, .STOXX and a bunch of others. RUB= is still stuck in "Insufficient data".
I stick to 1.1.2 based on recommendation in https://community.developers.refinitiv.com/questions/65416/code500messageunable-to-get-local-issuer-certifica.html .
Tried with the latest eikon version, the same error:

hi i am facing exactly the same problem since this weekend and i urgently need a fix as all my EOD market data processes are not working anymore.
Thank you for your prompt reply
As of this moment the issue persists, "RUB=" RIC is stuck with the "Insufficient data" error.
But in excel I do see the historical close prices for the same period using RHistory with ".Timestamp;.Close" fields.
This was an error on EIkon's end as part of Alert 41
I am having the same issue. The wierd thing about this error, in my case, is that it sometimes happens and sometimes doesn't running the same code line, same request.
It worked in here
Hello,
I also see the same issue however when inside codebook.
WARNING:pyeikon:Error with FXDKWEUR17=NPX: Insufficient dataERROR:pyeikon:FXDKWEUR17=NPX: Insufficient data |
The weird thing is that there is actually no error, i can see the data inside the dateframe. Any idea why it is coming up?
