SFTP Key Failure

Hello Team!


Client is connecting to SFPT, but the issue is related to the key failure.

The client can use a password or key authentication to login to the DSS SFTP server.

To setup SFTP with Key Authentication, please refer to the LSEG DataScope Select SFTP User Guide. It is in the Manual SFTP with Key Authentication section.

As mentioned by my colleague, this issue may relate to the authentication or server setttings. Therefore, it is better to contact the product support team directly to verify what the problem is.

Moreover, this forum is dedicated to software developers using Refinitiv or LSEG APIs. The client can also post technical questions regarding other Refinitiv or LSEG products and we will try to find answers. However, it will be faster to contact the product support specialist team direclty via MyRefinitiv.

Hello @Harold.Alfaro,

I don't see any key failure in this screenshot. The client was able to connect successfully - the remote directory is either invalid or not available. Either way, please raise this question with product support - since we can only answer technical API related questions on these forums.

Thank you... I thought this Forum was for any type of technical queries regardless of the product or solution.
We don't have access to the product backend systems - so can't look at application logs or user entitlements amongst other things. These activities are performed by product support.
