RFA crash recovery

Hi, we have a RFA java market data listener. I want to figure out how to re-request older messages in case of 1: my application crash or 2: temporary network issues.

Hello @yanchao.guo

RFA Java provides real-time data messages; it does not have any function to re-request older messages. Hence, you need to use another product instead.

You may consider Thomson Reuters Tick History (TRTH) which provides a feature that you can specify date and time of data messages you prefer. For example: if your application crashed/network problem occurred yesterday during 10.00-11.00 AM. Then, you can use a Java application to request 10.00-11.00 AM yesterday data messages from TRTH. If you would like to get data from TRTH, please contact Thomson Reuters Account team for the process and details.
