Basic RFA.Net Usage

Can somebody provide a document which states of basics of RFA.Net in simple terms. The Sample projects in Example library do not work and there is no clue to know what we are supposed to do. I am completely lost without any good document. I intend to get current price of an instrument using RFA.Net

@swanand.bodas

What example you are using and what is the error when you try the sample app?

If you want to retrieve market price data from Elektron or TREP server, I would suggest you try StarterConsumer or QuickStartConsumer example. To test the example, you should have a server IP address, service name and DACS user which has permission to request the item. You can find the details of the example from the Readme file provided under specific example folder.

Can you please elaborate more on your requirements and the issue you found?

Hello @swanand.bodas

You can find RFA .Net resources in the following links. However, only RDC Premium User can access the links. You can contact your Refinitiv representative if you want to register RDC Premium User.

Please note that the RFA .Net API documents are also available in in "Docs" folder of the API package.

Please be informed that the RFA API is a feature-completed API (non-strategic). You may consider the Elektron Message API (Java and C++ editions) which is a part of the strategic Elektron SDK family if you have a plan to develop a new project.

You can find more detail regarding Elektron Message API from the following links:
