I am having issue with, to pull the time series of number of brokers placing quotes on a stock given a stock RIC and time period. In Eikon Data API which field i should refer to pull this value ?

I understand your question as on Eikon content discovery, not on Eikon API usage.
First place I would try would be Eikon Data Item Browser tool, enter your RIC and search for broker, see the content that is available. This is a quick try approach.
If you are not able to find the fields with info that you are looking for, or do not know which RICs have the relevant content, I would involve Refinitiv content experts, via Refinitiv Content Helpdesk , selecting product = Eikon and "I need help finding content".
