Unable to connect to python

Hello team,


The user: rachid.eloukbani@atlantictm.com could not connect with pyeikon.


ERROR:pyeikon:Error code 500 | Server Error: {"code":500,"message":"getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND emea1.apps.cp.thomsonreuters.com emea1.apps.cp.thomsonreuters.com:443","statusMessage":"Internal Server Error"}


We got the same issue several months ago:

After chatting with Eikon Live Chat Support, here's the message from them

Our tech support said they will have to try to troubleshoot first so they asked me to create a separate case as the old one was already closed. Nevertheless, they said they will take over the new case and will contact the client within 1-2 hours. The new case number is 11048498

<AHS>

Case 11048498 is temporary closed because the client did not response.

Hi @oualid.mahiouz

I just want to confirm whether this issue is intermittent or if the client has never had success. Some of the suggestions within those posts you provide include configuration changes that this forum does not provide. Also, can you confirm the version of the API they are using and perhaps the code segments/screenshots showing the errors.

If these issues just started to happen, you may need to open a ticket with Refinitiv Support.

Hello Nick,


It's always the same error. Please check the others tickets i put for exemple. Some of our users got this issue and the solution is the one explain on the others tickets. The user really need it ASAP.

Could you please do the necessary?

The Eikon support team has tried to contact the user (Rachid) for further investigation, but there is no update from the user. Does the problem still persist?
