Calais API returning timeout errors

We are getting errors when sending requests to the API.

Unable to execute request to Thompson-Reuters due to the following error: {"error": {"status": { "code": "500", "errorCode": "Request-Timeout", "errorDescription": "Timeout reached while processing the document." }}}

Documentation indicates that resubmitting the request may resolve the issue however, it's not. Is this a system wide issue?

To investigate this issue we need the following information:
  • Are you getting this error for all documents or specific documents (if for specific ones please tell us the size of the doc and give us a doc example)
  • The URL you are using
  • Your user token
  • The headers you are sending
