Python Eikon Data API Error

Hi,

I am trying to use Eikon Data API. I have followed this tutorial
https://developers.refinitiv.com/eikon-apis/eikon-data-api/quick-start
and always unable to fetch data.

I have done all checks that found on your Q&A site (e.g. https://community.developers.refinitiv.com/questions/24246/python-and-eikon-api-error-requestexceptionshttper.html). Attaching relevant files for further investigation.

Thank you!!

@Ilya E.

Please follow steps in this question to verify the Eikon desktop log file. If you don't see APIPROXY in the SxS log file, it means that you can't use API Proxy with Eikon Desktop.

Hi @Ilya E.

It looks that you are using Thomson Reuters Eikon Core variant which does not have Eikon API functionality.
