Build-in function Excel to Python

Hi Everyone

in excel I am using for example the function =BdSettle or =AdBondPrice. Does the Python Package of Eikon include these formulas? If yes- does anyone has a description of these functions?

    First I suggest you check out server side fixed income analytics available for use with =TR function in Excel and with get_data method of Eikon Data APIs through the fields listed in Formula Builder wizard in Excel under the category "Sales and Trading Calculated Analytics - Fixed Income". For an example open template spreadsheet named "Bond Analytics in Eikon for Office" by clicking Templates button under Thomson Reuters tab in Excel ribbon and typing in "Bond Analytics" in the search field in the window that pops up. Examples in this template can be easily replicated using Eikon Data APIs, e.g.

    =TR("GB10YT=RR","TR.YieldToMaturityAnalytics","Price=104.16")

    translates to

    ek.get_data("GB10YT=RR","TR.YieldToMaturityAnalytics",{"Price":"104.16"})

    If this doesn't provide you all you're looking for, it's possible to use AdfinX Analytics COM library that provides Adfin Analytics functions including BdSettle and AdBondPrice in Python. But using a COM library in Python is cumbersome and, since AdfinX Analytics are only available as 32-bit COM library, it can only be used in 32-bit Python.
