TRDPRC_1 in Eikon Data API

Hi I am using the below formula in the excel: =@RHistory($C$2:$Y$2,"TRDPRC_1.Close","START:01-Jan-2016 END:02-Jun-2020 INTERVAL:1D",,"TSREPEAT:yes CH:Fd",C3) a list of RICS cell referenced but the RIC doesn't matter too much.


Is there a way to embed this in a get_data formula looking historically?

    Hi @danny.mullins1,

    I don't believe you can embed this Excel formula into a get_data() formula. To achieve the same result in get_data(), try this for example:

    df,err = ek.get_data(['AAPL.O'], ['TR.PriceClose', 'TR.PriceClose.Date'], 
                         parameters={'SDate': '2016-01-01', 'EDate': '2020-06-02'})
    df

    Using get_timeseries():

    df=ek.get_timeseries(['AAPL.O'],                       
                         start_date='2016-01-01',
                         end_date='2020-06-02')
