Hi when using the App-Key for using the Refinitiv API, is it a problem when a second developer uses the same app key from the same refinitiv account to fetch the data (different location, but same country)?

Because of licensing.

    Hi @Kevin Riedl ,

    Could you please clarify whether the 2 developers mentioned are going to use the same account or a different account?

    • I'd like to add the technical detail that different accounts can use the same API key, the permission is granted on the user level, not on the app key level.
    • But using a different app key on each account is recommended as it makes troubleshooting easier, and you can generate a new app key using App Key Generator anyway. (how to generate app key)

    However, please do not share an app key outside of your company as it's considered a credential.
