link these two together given the different instrument codes?

    It is not possible to convert instrument
    identifiers using Side by Side integration API. However the new Scripting Proxy API,
    which is being released in Beta, will allow you to convert the symbols
    into an instrument that Eikon can understand. You can find more information on the developer portal.
