Hi @Olivier DAVANT,
(private, moderators only)
Is there any plans on bonds search in Eikon?
Is there any info that we are comfortable sharing externally?
Thanks!
Hi Zoya,
The Search API of the Refinitiv Data Platform will be made available to customers in the Refinitiv Data Platform Library for Python in Q1 (Probably in February). This API allows Bonds Search I believe (to be verified). The library will provide functions and objects to simplify usage of the Search API. However, this API is already available via PlatformSessions and DesktopSessions of the library. Meaning that Eikon users can already use it via EndPoint objects of the Delivery Layer. See the Search API reference guide on the API Playground.
There is no plan to add a Search function to the Eikon Data API.
You can mention to customers that a Search capability will be made available in the Refinitiv Data Platform Library for Python.

Hello @achen and all,
There is no plan to add a Search function to the Eikon Data API.
Search capability will be made available via Refinitiv Data Platform Library for Python (that interacts with desktop, both Eikon and Refinitiv Worspace).
It is tentatively road-mapped for the end of Q1 of 2020 (this quarter).
We will update developers community when it is made available.
Hello @achen,
Please refer to this previous discussion of bond search functionality that is available, perhaps you will find it useful.
We are in close touch with the product leadership on your behalf, and as soon as any roadmap information is made available, we will share it with the developer community.
