DSS GUI/API connectivity

I found that it's only possible to access both GUI/API via anyconnect VPN. It's impossible to access the link (https://hosted.datascope.reuters.com/) from internet (I'm currently working from home via internet from Beijing China). Since we need to access DSS from VM which do not have anyconnect access, could you please let me know how to access DSS GUI/API without VPN connection?

Hi @Nan.Wang,

You may use IP address instead of domain name. Please see the DataScope Product Suit Connections option for more detailed information.

For example https://192.165.219.152/RestApi/v1/Extractions/ExtractWithNotes for REST API and https://192.165.219.225/DataScope/ for DSS GUI. However, you might encounter Cerfiticate Validation Failed and need to disable certificate validation in your application.
