I have retrieved company ESG scores from Refinitiv Eikon.
Can someone please help me clarify how the ESG ratings are weighted to each industry?
As I have understood, Refinitiv assigns a weight in the range of 1 to 10 to each industry, depending on a metrics materiality to a particular industry. However, the ESG scores are also weighted using a data-driven materiality matrix.
