Hi,

is there a way to retrieve Bond and Counterparty ratings with Refinitiv Data (RD) library Python API?

There are ISINs for Bond ratings and ticker codes for Counterparty ratings. Do I have to find RICs for those ISINs and ticker codes and use those RICs in RD library to search for the ratings?

OR is it possible to get the ratings using ISINs and ticker codes directly?

You should be able to use alternative codes to pull down ratings. For example, below is a bond for Apple using an ISIN:

I would recommend you research the available rating properties within the DIB (Data Item Browser) within Workspace. If you need clarification on the available rating properties, or other content-related questions, I would suggest you reach out to a content specialist within the desktop via the menu option under help (Get Help & Support - F1).
